We Believe

…the Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)

...there is Only One God, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 12:13, John 1:1)

…that the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the

Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Matthew 1:21; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18)

Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples (Acts 1:20; Romans 4:25; I Corinthians15:1-8)

…in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for His Church (Matthew 24; Mark 16:19; John 14:2-3; Acts 1:9-11; Philippians 2:5-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Hebrews 9:28)

ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

Salvation comes through the finished work of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-13). We are saved by GRACE through FAITH (Ephesians 2:8)

...that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise to all believers, and that all believers should seek to be filled.  Its endowment of power is given for sanctification, to lead and guide in all truth, and to make all believers a witness of the resurrection of Christ (Acts 2:38, Acts 4:31, Acts 8:14-17, Acts 19:1-21, Corinthians 12:4-7)

…ALL the gifts of the Spirit will be manifest in the church with balance and guidance from the local church ministry (1 Corinthians 12: 7-11)

... that all God’s people are to be buried with Christ in the waters of baptism, subsequent to repentance and faith in God. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4)

…in the Restorative Nature of God; that this world is in the restorative process, the restoration of all things (Acts 3:21, Isaiah 58:12)

…the callings of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher are functional within the Body of Christ until the Lord’s return.  Furthermore, these ministries are gifts to the church for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, that the Body of Christ may be edified (Ephesians 4:11,12)

… in the priesthood of the believer; all people born of God have equal access to their Lord (1 Peter 2:5; 1 Peter 2:9; John 14:14, Matthew 7:7)

…in the public gathering of the Church together for prayer, worship, teaching and preaching of the Bible and the administering of the sacraments of the church (Acts 2; I Corinthians 11; Hebrews 10:25)

…We believe in expressive worship as unto the Lord (expression through clapping, dancing, and lifting hands) (Psalms 150:1, 149:2-6, 95:1)

Our Values

*LOVE - God is love, and we are passionate about demonstrating and releasing the LOVE of God in every encounter.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 "If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy     gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing." (NASB)

*HONOR - We are committed to creating a culture of HONOR in our homes, workplaces, church, and community.

1 Peter 2:17 "Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king." (NASB)

*INDIVIDUALITY - We believe that our individuality should be celebrated, as our unique gifts all work together to enhance the effectiveness of the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 "There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of     ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all." (NKJV)

*SERVICE - The love of God working in and through us leads us to a life of service unto the Lord.

Galatians 5:13 "For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love, serve one another." (NASB)

Ephesians 6:6-8 "not with eye service, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free." (NKJV)

*DISCIPLESHIP - We believe it is the responsibility of the church to equip the body to understand the power of God within them, and to release that power and life into the community.

Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NASB)
